Qualora almeno il Consiglio fosse stato per tempo posto a conoscenza delle procedure seguite e dei problemi in essere, forse, e sottolineo forse, tutti insieme una qualche indicazione risolutiva, quanto meno relativamente al nostro territorio, la si sarebbe potuta individuare. Pertanto - che dire? - ora ognuno si assuma le proprie responsabilità, sia a livello comunale che di ambito, dinanzi a tale situazione fallimentare, a mio avviso, ripeto, scaturita anche da azioni poste in essere presuntuosamente, senza il minimo coinvolgimento di esterni rispetto alla maggioranza comunale, poi trasferitasi anche in Ato".

Ciò trova riscontro nei seguenti dati statistici: pazienti trattati 124; aliquote di cellule staminali criocongelate 1130; aliquote di cellule staminali trapiantate 511. Tale attività è stata svolta utilizzando apparecchiature e risorse umane ovviamente già disponibili.Il Comitato Ba.C.O. evidenzia che nell’ospedale “A. Perrino” di Brindisi vi è già una Unità Operativa Semplice di Emaferesi Produttiva e Terapeutica per la raccolta delle cellule staminali su pazienti oncoematologici. Alla raccolta fa seguito, presso il laboratorio delle CSE (cellule staminali emopoietiche), il trattamento per il congelamento e la crioconservazione delle cellule staminali per autotrapianto. A tal fine, per l’espletamento delle anzidette procedure, la sala criobiologia è provvista di apparecchiature e ambienti idonei.
In considerazione di tutto questo risulta evidente che qualsiasi comparazione con altre eventuali candidature privilegi di fatto la scelta di Brindisi per l’esistenza nell’ospedale “A. Perrino "a structure designed already in place. Having appropriate equipment and personnel adequately professionalized the Service of Transfusion Medicine in fact, already performs this task. Therefore - in the opinion of the Committee Ba.CO - is a strong case that has been applied to the Region Puglia official recognition of the current work by authorizing the creation of a Brindisi criobanca of stem cells from umbilical cord.

The deputy of the People of Freedom 'and Luigi Vitali' was today elected President of the Italian delegation to the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe. Vice chairmen of the delegation will be Senator Fred Bricolo, group leader of the League Nord al Senato, e l'onorevole Andrea Rigoni, presidente uscente della delegazione, del Partito Democratico. Faranno parte della nuova delegazione italiana i deputati Roberto Antonione, Gennaro Malgieri e Deborah Bergamini del Popolo delle Liberta', Gianpaolo Dozzo della Lega Nord, Piero Fassino, Dario Franceschini del Partito Democratico e Lorenzo Cesa dell'Udc. Mentre il Senato sara' rappresentato da Pasquale Nessa, Giacomo Santini, Giuseppe Valentino e Giuseppe Saro per il Popolo delle Liberta'; da Vannino Chiti, Pietro Marcenaro e Paolo Giarretta per il Partito Democratico e da Giacinto Russo dell'Italia dei Valori. Da un tendenziale bipolarismo siamo pronti a passare ad un tendenziale bipartitismo: due grandi partiti, chi vince governa, chi perde si oppone e dopo 4 o 5 anni se ne riparla". Denis Verdini ha anche avanzato una proposta organizzativa: "Forza Italia, Alleanza Nazionale e gli altri partiti del centrodestra hanno sempre avuto molti iscritti, ma questi iscritti per quanto numerosi rappresentavano solo una piccola percentuale degli elettori. Per questo sembra decisamente preferibile puntare su forme piu’ aperte e leggere di ’registrazione’ (sul modello americano) che consentano a milioni di persone di lasciare i propri recapiti per essere ricontattate, consultate e regolarmente coinvolte nella vita del nostro soggetto politico".

Gli elenchi, suddivisi per comparto e settore di appartenenza dell’amministrazione dichiarante, comprendono gli incarichi affidati a consulenti e collaboratori esterni, relativi all’anno 2007, con la descrizione e la durata dell’incarico nonché l’importo erogato nell’anno di riferimento a fronte di quell’incarico. Questi elenchi riguardano 9.843 amministrazioni che hanno conferito 269.455 incarichi, per un totale di compensi erogati pari a 1.354.509.416,21 euro. Ricordiamo che l’Operazione Trasparenza avviata dal Ministro Brunetta è iniziata nello scorso mese di giugno con la pubblicazione dei dati relativi al 2006. Per tale anno avevano comunicato i dati 9.160 amministrazioni che avevano conferito 265.212 incarichi, per un totale di compensi erogati 1.287.894.854,25 di euro.
