Yellow with many solutions
Saturday, April 17, at the comic "One Piece" of Orissa, were presented to the public the last two volumes of comic Yellow (Gianluigi Concas), or "Mouflon Sheep Mutant vs Insano" and "Revenge of the Mullet of rubber," a self-release under Double Shot brand.
Yellow (or planed, in some self-produced) is a young Sardinian author of the scene, running for over ten years in the creation of stories "committed" (As we used to say) and visionary, but at the same time fun and engaging. Yellow
spoke about his influences (especially Miguel Angel Martin), and described him as someone in the comic as the will of expression is not purely self-referential, but it must be communicating with others.
After many years of experience in the comic book and fanzine articles "Depakine," accompanied by the production of objects targati "Plasticol (including towels omosessualizzanti, called alternative music and so on!), Yellow has made the leap, passing photocopies from the classic to the press, just to reach a wider audience. Thus, the return of a long history of a man, Andrea, nella Sardegna del futuro dove il Muflone Insano dà la caccia alle Pecore Mutanti è uscita divisa in due volumi brossurati.
L'autore ha dichiarato che preferisce non sintetizzare la trama di questi volumi.
In realtà ciò non accade perchè la storia è "difficile da capire": Giallo, come detto, non aderisce a quella teoria sottesa a tanti fumettisti underground per cui l'autore deve essere criptico e ispirato al motto "capitemi perchè sono un artista... se non mi capite è solo colpa vostra".
Giallo ha idee precise, e le vuole comunicare, e il fumetto, con la sua doppia anima di parole e immagini, è lo strumento ideale per esser chiari.
Il "Muflone" è una vicenda che can be read on several levels: there is satirical and ironic, funny, we can say immediately, that may appreciate the casual reader.
Then there is a deep level, "political" we could say if this term does not indicate a distance by the common man today. At this level, the author invites us to reflect on what is now the tradition, the Sardinians, but also, more generally, what is the influence (and derived) of TV and a way to do tourism, and the reality TV show and tourism. On how the mutation, the change is essential but dangerous if uncontrolled.
A comic strip that, therefore, can not be synthesized because it must be properly appreciated vignette vignette, with the rhythm of reading that every reader will want to choose.
